Oracle launches management software for Asia-Pacific markets

Mumbai, Aug 7 (UNI) IT solutions provider Oracle has unveiled its enterprise performance management (EPM) system for the Asia-Pacific region.

Speaking at the launch in a video conference from Tokyo yesterday, Oracle's Vice President (EPM Strategy) Frank Buytendijk said operational management alone could not deliver desired corporate results unless supported by excellent and creative management team.

The EPM system, already launched in the US and Europe and used by corporates like Wal-Mart, is the industry's most comprehensive, fully integrated suite of EPM applications, and moves beyond transactional processes such as quote-to-cash and develop-to-release.

''This will be especially useful for telecom and retail companies with large data bases,'' said company officials.
