Rohtak, Aug 3 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said the government was planning to set up big industrial units in each district of the state on the pattern of Gurgaon to provide job opportunities to the youth.
The Chief Minister, who was redressing the grievances of the people at the canal rest house here, said Haryana was poised to become the number one state of the country in sphere of development.
Industries would provide employment to thousands of people, he added.
Expressing happiness over setting up of an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) at Garnavathi village of the district, Mr Hooda said with the establishement of the IIM, the local students would not have to go to other places to get education in management. The IIM would also provide employment opportunities, he added.
The State Government was laying special stress on technical education, he said, adding that the new initiatives taken by the Government to improve standard of education would enable the students to compete globally.
The Chief Minister also said the government was dedicated to the service of people and was making all out efforts to provide maximum facilities to all sections of the society, particularly weaker sections.
