Nepali boy sent to juvenile home for sending SMS on serial blast
Baripada, Jul 29 (UNI) A local court today rejected the bail application of a Nepali boy, arrested yesterday for sending an SMS to a private TV channel hinting that there would be serial blasts in Kolkatta.
Chief Judicial Magistrate, Baripada Govind Chandra Panigrahi ordered Police to send Dil Bahadur, the boy to Juvenile Observation home, Rourkela after rejecting his bail application.
The court fixed August 11 for the next hearing.
Dil Bahadur, son of a night watchman engaged in an Electricity Distribution Company had sent the SMS after watching a TV channel on the serial blasts in Ahmedabad.
The SMS read as "Kaal Ratme Baar baje Kolkata me hoga do dhamaka"( Tomorrow at 1200 hours in the night there would be two blasts in Kolkatta).
The boy had mentioned his name as Seikh Mujhaudhin" as the sender of the SMS.
The Kolkatta police traced the mobile and informed its counterpart in Mayurbhanj.
The police raided the house of Dil Bahadur at Bahalada village and booked him under 504/505/505(2) of the IPC.
