NCP appoints Lohe as party state president
Kohima, Jul 03 (UNI) Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar has appointed Povotso Lohe as the president of the Nagaland unit of the NCP.
In a letter, S R Kohli, honorary permanent secretary, media advisor of NCP to Mr Lohe, a copy of which was distributed to the press, informed that Mr Pawar, in consultation with NCP general secretary P A Sangma, had appointed Mr Lohe as the president of the state NCP replacing Y Sulanthung H Lotha.
In the letter, Mr Kohli advised to take the charge of the state unit president from Mr Lotha and submit the list of names of office bearers and members of Executive Committee proposed for the approval of the national committee of the NCP.
