Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.90 per USD, down by 2 paise

Mumbai, Jun 18 (UNI) Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US Dollar at Rs 42.90 per unit, down by two paise from its yesterday's rate of Rs 42.92 per USD.

The reference rate for Euro was quoted 20 paise declined at Rs 66.46 per unit, against yesterday's rate of Rs 66.66.

The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted low at Rs 83.7494 (84.4816) per Pound and Rs 39.70 (39.79) per 100 units respectively, data received by Reserve Bank of India stated.
