Hyderabad, Jun 3 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhara Rao, who submitted his resignation, would attend the Executive Meeting to be held at the party head office, 'Telangana Bhavan', tomorrow.
Talking to newspersons here today after a TRS delegation met Mr Rao at his residence, party senior leader N Narasimha Reddy said ''the TRS chief has agreed to attend the party executive meeting, where the party would take a decision on his resignation.'' Stating that the delegation had urged Mr Rao to withdraw his resignation, he said ''the leaders and workers wanted Mr Rao's leadership to achieve statehood for Telangana. There is no question of changing the TRS leadership,'' he added.
He said Mr Rao would preside over the meeting.
Meanwhile, the TRS workers staged a sit in in front of Mr Rao's residence, urging him to withdraw his resignation and lead the Telangana movement until the people's dream come true.
