ACB raids unearth assets worth Rs 46 lakh from Govt official
Hyderabad, May 30 (UNI) The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) today unearthed disproportionate assets worth Rs 46 lakh in simultaneous raids conducted on the premises of Divisional Administrative Officer (DAO) in the office of Sub-Collector of Rajahmundry of East Godavari district.
The accused, Ramu Naidu, had acquired 12 house sites at Rajahmundry and Rajanagaram, worth Rs ten lakh, and buildings, worth Rs 12 lakh, in the name of his family members. He had 11 acres of agricultural land, worth Rs nine lakh, according to a release here.
Mr Naidu was possessing gold and silver jewellery, worth Rs five lakh, and household articles, worth Rs 2.50 lakh, the release added.
