Magnitude 5.5 quake hits southern Sumatra
New Delhi, May 22: The Southern Sumatra, Indonesia experienced tremors, measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale, India metroloigical department said here today.
The tremors were felt at 0353 hrs and its epicentre was 4.2 degree South latitude and 100.2 degree East longitude. There was no report of any casualty.
