Caller claims bombs planted in Gujarat HC

Ahmedabad, May 16: There was panic in the Gujarat High Court today after an anonymous person called up the court authorities and claimed that bombs had been planted in its campus.

The caller claimed that bombs had been planted in two court-rooms. The the wake of the recent Jaipur blasts, the authorities at once swung into action and immediately evacuated the premises.

Bomb disposal and dog squads have been pressed into service to conduct a thorough check. However, some important cases are still being heard in the chambers of the judges as the High Court is observing a vacation from tomorrow.
