Bihar continues to reel under scorching heat
Patna, May 7 (UNI) People in Bihar continued to reel under scorching weather as mercury level hovered around 38 degrees Celsius today.
According to Met officials here, maximum temperature recorded at Patna was 38 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 25.3 degrees Gaya experienced a more uncomfortable weather as mercury level soared to 40.4 degress Celsius, while it slipped to 24.5 degrees sources said.
The maximum temperature in Bhagalpur was recorded at 37.3 degrees Celsius and in Purnea at 35.5 degrees Celsius.
The relative humidity in Patna was recorded at 72 per cent in the morning, while it was 43 per cent in the evening.
Met office has predicted a clear sky for the next 24 hours.
