Pawar to visit Nagaland next month
Kohima, Apr 26 (UNI) Union Agriculture Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar will arrive here on May 17 for a three-day visit to Nagaland.
Official sources said here today that Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio informed about the visit of Mr Pawar while he was addressing the Rural Development Officers yesterday.
Mr Rio also informed that the Union Minister was likely to be accompanied by his daughter and Rajya Sabha Member Supriya Sule.
During his three-day visit till May 19, Mr Pawar is expected to inaugurate the Agricultural Exhibition here.
Mr Rio said the exhibition stalls will be set up by the Agriculture and allied sectors and some Self Help Groups (SHGs) and disclosed that the Union Minister had promised to establish an institute for the state under his Ministry, the sources said.
