PACB employees to launch stir to press demands
Karur, Apr 23: Tamil Nadu Primary Cooperative Bank All Staff Association will launch a struggle over the next fortnight to draw the state government's attention into their long pending demands including disbursal of pending wages.
In a statement here today, Association state general secretary C Kuppusamy said more than 22,000 employees of ration shops and over 45,000 cooperative bank staffs would take part in the struggle.
As part of the three-phased stir, a demonstration would be held in front of the state secretariat at Chennai on April 28, followed by a strike on May 2. If the demands were not met by the government, then the employees would resort to a dharna before the secretariat, he warned.
