Jammu, Apr 11 (UNI) UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi would meet the Kashmiri migrants and address a public rally, besides women convention, during her daylong visit here tomorrow, official sources today said.
Sources said Ms Gandhi would arrive in the Winter Capital about 1030hrs and likely to leave for Pukhoo Migrants camp and address a public rally.
''Soon after addressing a rally, she would visit Jagati township at Nagrota in city outskirts and in the afternoon, she would address a women convention organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) at Parade Ground, in the heart of the city,'' party sources told UNI.
However, three-tired security setup has been put in place for the visit of Ms Gandhi, official sources said asserting, ''besides state police, CRPF personnel have also been deployed in and around the venue while security in the entire city has been beefed up.'' Sanjay Bopanna, AICC secretary, who is also in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir affairs, along with president All India Mahila Congress and Member Parliament Dr Prabha Thakur, visited the Parade Ground and reviewed the arrangements, sources said.
