Ford launches mobile workshop
Kochi, Apr 10 (UNI) To provide 'stress-free' vehicle ownership and motoring experience to customers, Ford India today announced the launch of 24X7 'Ford Service Roadside Assistance' here.
Company Product Marketing General Manager P K Umashankar told reporters that the programme would comprise a fleet of two types of vehicles - flat bed trucks and motorcycles, for emergency response, to provide quick services to the customers.
Mr Umashankar said the programme was introduced in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Pune in the first phase and had been extended to Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Kochi in the second phase.
''As our dealership network was far and wide in the country, the service would be spread to other cities in the immediate future,'' he noted.
The programme would be free for two years for those customers who bought Ford vehicles after April one, and other Ford owners would have to pay Rs 11,000 to avail the service, he added.
