Three injured and mango crops damaged in late evening storm
Malda, Mar 20 (UNI) A family of three was injured and a large number of mango crops were destroyed in a late evening storm today.
A tree caught in the late evening storm fell on the car, in which the family was travelling and unjured all three of them. The incident occurred on Manikchak State Highway.
''All three of them, including a child, have been admitted to a local hospital,'' SP Satyjit Banerjee said and added that the incident occurred about 25 kms from the sadar police station and all roads to that area had been blocked by trees hit by the storm.
