''Its a man's world'', slated for June 2008 release
Mumbai, Mar 14 (UNI) ''It's A Man's World'', a film revolving around the life and trauma of male sex workers in metros, will be released in June 2008.
Speaking to UNI, the debutant producer of the film Vijay Pereria said, ''The subject of the film is bold, the treatment is stylish, urban and yet so human. It explored the sensitive emotional side of the characters. There is no sex or violence in the film. The director made the audiences think, cry and travel with his subjects without graphically portraying their lives.'' The film stars model-turned-actor Mohsin Akhtar, Mikhill, Ranjit, Ankit and Shakti in the lead roles, with Mauli Ganguly and Smita Bansal as the two women in the man's world.
''We did a lot of research with help from doctors, sociologists and real life victims, whose identity has not been revealed.
Our film is now on the editing table and we are looking to tie up with corporates,'' Pereria said.
