Two sisters among four killed in separate accidents

Phagwara, Mar 10 (UNI) Two sisters were killed while their brother sustained serious injuries when the motorcycle they were travelling in collided with a private bus near Chichhowal village late last evening, police today said.

The accident occured when the victims identified as Sapna (18), Ranjit Kaur(22) alongwith their brother Jatinder (30) were going to their village Sareeh. The two sisters died on the spot while their brother was seriously injured. He was admitted in Phillaur civil hospital.

A case has been registered against the bus driver who managed to escape leaving the bus behind.

Meanwhile, in another accident occured last evening two motorcyclists, identified as Des Raj and Balkar Singh of Bhularai village in Phagwara sub division, were killed when their motorcycle dashed against a tree near Barna village.
