Patna, Mar 8 (UNI) Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) today castigated cinestar and former Union Minister Shatrughan Sinha for his statement eulogising Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray, who spitted venom against Biharis and termed them as ''unwanted'' across the country.
In a release issued here, BPCC chief spokesperson Prem Chand Mishra alleged that the statement of Mr Sinha, also a Rajya Sabha member, had exposed the true face of BJP.
''The party was shedding crocodile tears for the plight of Biharis in Maharashtra, who were being targetted there on instigation from Bal Thackeray and his nephew Raj Thackeray,'' he said.
''It is now crystal clear from the statement of Mr Sinha that NDA was responsible behind the onslaught against Biharis in Maharashtra and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is only doing lip service by expressing concern over the issue,'' Mr Mishra maintained.
