Two policemen suspended in Samastipur

Samastipur, Feb 12 (UNI) Two policemen were suspended while four others were asked to explain their positions on charges of dereliction of duty.

Official sources said here today that two sub-inspectors, Rajeshwar Prasad Mishra and Ashutosh Kumar Sharma, were placed under suspension by DIG (Darbhanga range) Ganesh Prasad Yadav.

Whereas Gopal Verma, Narendra Singh, B K Srivastav and Surendra Prasad had been asked to explain their positions.

The policemen were responsible to keep the records of crimes of Mufossil police station, the sources added.
