MeritTrac wins NASSCOM IT Innovation Award

Bangalore, Feb 7: MeritTrac, India"s Largest Skills Assessment Company has been awarded the 'NASSCOM IT Innovation Award" by NASSCOM, the premier trade body and the voice of the IT/ITeS industries in India, for its technologically advanced Integrated Assessment Centres called MeritTrac Assessment Zones (MAZ).

These centers are a revolutionary concept in online testing which combine the efficiency of online testing with a wide reach – and provide a perfect platform for corporates and academia, while delivering huge process efficiencies.

Speaking on this win, Mr. Madan Padaki, Co-Founder&CEO, MeritTrac Services said, “The mindset of innovation permeates all through MeritTrac - with the company itself being conceived as a pioneering concept. This was the sole award under the Input Innovation category which recognizes innovations in terms of capital, talent or technology that are bought into the firm to accrue efficiencies and create a business advantage. MeritTrac is also the only non-IT/ITeS company to figure in the list of awardees.

Online testing is recognized the world over as the most efficient delivery mechanisms for assessments. But overwhelming infrastructure constraints and lack of reach as well as control have limited the scope of this delivery mode in India. Building process efficiencies while ensuring client satisfaction in established systems has been the premier agenda for assessments companies for a while and efforts have also been focused on delivery mechanisms.

As the pioneer and leader in the assessments space, MeritTrac"s steps in revolutionizing processes led to the set up of MAZ, as fully owned and controlled online assessment centers in India. MAZ combine labs with testing terminals, advanced proctoring mechanisms like IP cameras and stringent registration mechanisms like biometric fingerprint scanners with plush waiting areas, GD/Interview rooms, evaluators and supervisors to provide a complete testing environment.
