Britney's pal Lutfi grilled by K-Fed's lawyer
Washington, Jan 25 : After avoiding questioning for months, Britney Spears' pal Sam Lutfi was questioned by Kevin Federline's lawyer, reveals a source.
Lutfi, a confidante of the 26-year-old singer, evaded being served a notice to appear by Federline's legal team.
In fact, last year, former Israeli commando Aaron Cohen, hired by lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, tried to subpoena Lutfi by boxing in his car in L.A., but to no avail.
Finally, Lutfi was served on Nov 7 "in the parking lot of a place in Hollywood," People quoted Kaplan, as saying.
However, he did not show up even for one appointment in November.
In a series of legal interviews of former Spears associates Kaplan is gathering evidence to prepare for trial in April for Federline's request for primary physical custody of his children with Britney.
However, Spears herself has not been quite regular with her appointments with Kaplan, and has attended just two of such sessions.
