GoAir demands severe punishment for molester

New Delhi, Jan 19 (UNI) Standing filmly behind its two women crew members who have filed an FIR against their molester, GoAir today demanded immediate arrest of the accused and severe punishment for him.

The GoAir management also stressed that ''any passenger misbehaving or abusing or man-handling any of our employees will be dealt with strictly''.

''Besides off loading such passengers, we will take necessary police action against them. The management is committed to protecting the self-respect of all our employees,'' a statement by the airlines said.

The two cabin crew members of GoAir flight G8-111 filed an FIR yesterday against the passenger, Ved Prakash, for alleged verbal and physicall abuse on January 17.

The FIR was lodged at the Sahar Police Station in Mumbai under Sections 354, 509 and 504 of the IPC.
