Mahindra Renault unveils Logan's variants
New Delhi, Jan 10 (UNI) Mahindra Renault, a 51:49 joint venture between country's leading utility vehicle maker Mahindra&Mahindra (M&M) and Renault SA, today launched new variants of passenger car 'Logan,' available at Rs 4.49 lakh onwards.
''The Logan has been a huge success since its launch early last year. The variants are based on both customer feedback and future trends in the automobile industry,'' Mahindra Renault Ltd Managing Director Rajesh Jejurikar told reporters at the 9th Auto Expo here.
The company today displayed the Logan Emerald (LPG Car-Eco Concept), the Fully Loaded Logan and the Steppe.
Mr Jejurikar said Logan Emerald is aimed to reduce the carbon footprint by improving fuel efficiency, reduing carbon dioxide and developing feasible alternatives to petrol and diesel.
The Logan Emerald is Mahindra Renault's first Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) powered vehicle.
The JV, formed in February 2005, has a Logan facility in Nashik.
