Ahmedabad, Jan 1 (UNI) The executive committee meeting of the state BJP will be held here on January 5 to take stock of the recently-concluded Gujarat assembly elections.
The executive committee will also pass a resolution, thanking people of Gujarat for the massive victory of the party, according to sources.
The meeting will be presided over by State BJP President Purushottam Rupala in the presence of Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Gujarat in-charge O M Mathur. All the newly elected 117 MLAs will also attend the meeting as special invitees.
The party has resolved to take a tough stand against local party leaders who worked against the official candidates in the recently-concluded assembly elections.
Details of such local leaders and workers who have worked against the interests of the party were being collected and strict action would be taken against them, sources said.
