Benazir killing: PPP announces 40-day mourning

(PPP)
announced
a
40-day
mourning
across
the
country,
demanding
an
independent
and
honest
investigation
to
probe
into
the
slaying
of
former
Prime
minister
and
party's
chairperson
Benazir
Bhutto.
Senior Vice-Chairman of PPP, Makhdoom Amin Fahimad, said PPP workers and family members of Bhutto should be aware of those involved in the incident. He asserted that post-mortem report would clear the true picture whether she was shot at or killed in a suicide attack. He said she left the procession safe and sound but overzealous party workers surrounded her and raised slogans when the incident happened. He assured that they would keep PPP alive and continue struggle in the best interests of the country.
