Call rates end firm at 7.75-7.80 pc
Mumbai Nov 27 (UNI) Inter-bank call money rates today hovered around same levels to settle at 7.75-7.80 per cent as against its previous close of 7.80 per cent.
During the day, it touched a high of 08.00 per cent and a low of 07.70 per cent.
Dealers said profit booking by FII's in the equity market, which might have pumped in fresh funds in the system, eased the call rates, trading in the range of 7.00-8.00 per cent for last few days.
The Reserve Bank of India, through reverse repo, accepted 19 bids worth Rs 12,135 crore at a fixed rate of 7.75 per cent.
