Air Deccan flight hit by Jet Airways jeep

Chennai, Nov 19: An Air Deccan aircraft was hit by a Jet Airways owned jeep at Chennai domestic airport early morning today.

Official sources said jeep driver Joyce rode the vehicle abruptly in flagrant violation of norms and regulations and barged into Bay No 45 and damaged the wall portion of the flight at 0300 hrs.

The jeep driver sustained a minor injury as he was drowsy.

Airport authorities, Air Deccan and Jet Airways flight officials were enquiring into the incident, the sources said.
