Volvo launches series of Wheel Loaders

Bangalore, Nov 17 (UNI) Volvo Construction Equipment today launched its new series of Wheel Loaders and the PT220 RH Pnumatic Tire Roller at the ongoing equipment Excon-2007, a CII exhibition of mining and construction equipment.

Volvo Construction Equipment President Eberhard Wedekind President, speaking after the launch, said "the Indian market has accepted our equipment very well and the encouraging response from the cub-continent has led us to launch our latest series of Wheel Loaders in India." Company President and CEO (Road Machinery Business Line) Pat Olney said that "the PT220 machine was designed to suit the quality needs of the Indian roads." "This was the first time globally that the Volvo branded road machinery was being launched. The acquisition has helped us expand and expertise in terms of fulfilling the customer needs for better roads and potential to leverage our position across synergies.", he added.
