Imphal, Nov 9: The Manipur Congress dissidents are still camping in Delhi demanding removal of Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh.
The revolt has the blessing of Congress President Gaikhangam. The dissidents want the problem to be solved by November 15 next.
Congress sources said the supporters of both the groups were not seeing eye-to-eye and the Congress High Command has not yet done anything to resolve the crisis.
Ibobi has already discussed the issue with Congress President Sonia Gandhi and sources close to Ibobi said the Congress High Command was against any change in leadership.
The dissidents have also submitted a memorandum to Ms Gandhi and pointed out that the law and order situation was deteriorating. The Congress Bhawan at BT road Imphal has become a centre of conflict between supporters of the two groups and though so far no untoward incident has been reported, tension was high.
Both the groups were claiming majority. Ibobi has also been charged with holding all the important portfolios like home and finance and ignoring the Congress workers while carrying out all activities.
