Chilly weather persists, minimum drops to 16.2 Degree C
New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) Chilly weather continued for the third consecutive day today with the minimum temperature dropping to 16.2 degree celsius, two degrees below normal.
However, the maximum temperature, continuing its upward movement since Saturday, rose further to 34.5 degrees celsius, from 34.2 degrees yesterday.
The drop in minimum temperature comes after a brief period of abatement last week which saw the minimum temperature hover around the 18 degree mark.
The chilly weather is likely to persist for the rest of the week with the weathermen forecasting that the minimum temperature will remain at around 17 degrees celsius tomorrow.
They have forecast a rise in maximum temperature to 35 degree celsius tomorrow.
