Bomb blasts accused will be punished: Minister
Hyderabad, Oct 8 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal today asserted the accused in the recent bomb blasts in Hyderabad and other places would be brought to book, wherever they were.
Terrorists were targeting fast-growing cities like Hyderabad to stall economic development and destabilise the developing nation, he told reporters here on the sidelines of the first conference of the heads of police training institutions of SAARC countries.
To a question, he said ''the accused, wherever they were -- be it in Pakistan or Bangladesh or any other third country -- would be extradited and brought to book.'' He praised the people of the state for exhibiting remarkable courage in the wake of the attacks and remaining united.
Declining comment on the progress of investigation into the recent terror strikes in Hyderabad, he told reporters here that the ''investigation was not complete'' Meanwhile, Bangaldesh Police Academy Commandant and Deputy Inspector General of Police Mohammed Mokhlesur Rahman denied that the terrorists who had triggered twin-blasts in Hyderabad were operating from his country.
