BJ to get corruption cases investigated if voted to power: Uma
Bhopal, Oct 2 (UNI) Bharatiya Janshakti (BJ) President Uma Bharti today said her party would get corruption-related issues investigated if it came into power.
Ms Bharti, while addressing a public meeting on the conclusion of party General Secretary Prahlad Patel's fast, which started on September 25, asked party workers to get prepared for the next year's assembly election.
Asserting that power-hungry workers and leaders could leave the BJ even now, Ms Bharti urged party workers to take a pledge to protect poor, women and cows.
She said cow-slaughter should end and party workers should not hesitate from coming down on streets for this.
The sadhvi alleged that the BJP had diverted from its original issues and claimed that it would not return to power.
Earlier, Mr Patel and other BJ leaders took a dig on the state government on rampant corruption in various departments.
Later, a delegation submitted a memorandum to the Governor in this regard.
