Announcing this to newsmen here Guru Prasad, one of the directors, said the Rs 49 crores company would enter the home zone with a range of kitchen and wardrobe collections across South India under the brand name 'V3 Home Zone.' It had a rare capability to design, manufacture, market and install all its product offerings, he explained.
Replying to queries he said the products ranged from doors, wardrobes and kitchen furniture. The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Nelamangala, on the outskirts of the city, had a capacity to manufacture 3.6 million doors and 4500 kitchens and wardrobes per annum.
He said the total size of the Indian furniture industry was approximately Rs 350 billion of which the residential segment constituted 60 per cent. The company had a market share of eight per cent at the national level with regard to workstations alone in the organised office space, he added.
