HCL pacts with Core to develop joint technology

New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) HCL Technologies Ltd and nCore, a software company, today entered into an alliance to develop a joint technology to provide complete solution to customers in the embedded market space.

''The alliance will cater to the changing market dynamics. The focus of the new technology will be on delivering highly usable applications as well as providing easy to use interface for the development of embedded software,'' HCL's Product Manager and Business Head EmPresent Shailesh K Gupta said.

With the integrated solution, customers are now able to access all these markets using native language in both text input and output, a statement said.

''We are pleased to have our technology integrated into HCL's powerful GUI toolkit to provide customers an instant access to global, multilingual markets,'' nCore CEO Tapio Koivuniemi said.

nCore's nScript enables the development of user interfaces in complex languages such as Hindi, Bengali, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Punjabi and Arabic.

nCore Ltd is specialised in the development of embedded localisation and user interface software and related consulting.
