Air Deccan migrates to Radixx Reservation System

Bangalore, Feb 28 (UNI) Air Deccan has migrated to Radixx Reservation System from its previous booking engine powered by Inter Globe Technologies.

The migration to the new reservation system took place yesterday, Air Deccan said in a statement here today.

Air Deccan was the first airline in India to introduce a 100 per cent web-enabled booking system and was the largest e-commerce website in Asia. The Air Deccan website on an average received about 250 million hits per month.

Airline Managing Director Capt G R Gopinath said, ''Air Deccan has always aimed at leveraging technology to offer efficient and innovative services to its passengers. We are a technology-driven company and believe that IT has opened up a world of opportunities for airlines, enabling them to provide convenience and control to travellers right through the booking stage to in-flight services.''
