Milkman convicted of selling adulterated milk in 17-yrs-old case

Mahoba, May 10 (UNI) In a case that dragged on for 17 years, a milkman was today sentenced to six months rigourous imprisonment for selling adulterated milk in the district.

The accused, Babu Lal, was first arrested on May 27, 1989 in the case.

Chief judicial magistrate Manthan Lal convicted Babu Lal of selling adulterated milk and endangering the lives of his customers.

Apart from the jail term, the accused was also fined Rs 1,000.
