How to enable eSIM in India

In India Airtel and Jio support eSIM on both postpaid and prepaid. Vi only supports it on postpaid plans
Not all phones are compatible with eSIM. You need to make sure that your phone supports eSIM first
To activate eSIM, Jio users should SMS ‘GETESIM>32 Space Digit EID>15>Digit IMEI to 199
Airtel users should SMS eSIM registered the registered email ID to 121
Vi users should SMS eSIM their registered email ID to 199
Once you do this you will receive instruction via SMS. Follow that process
You will then get a QR code on your registered email ID, which you will have to scan
For Samsung: Go to settings>Connections>SIM card Manager>Add Mobile Plan>Add Using QR code
Apple: Go to settings>Mobile Data>Add Data Plan
For Pixel fro to Settings>Network and Internet>Mobile Network>Download a SIM Instead>Next> Scan QR code that you have received in the email
