How to check pension status on EPFO portal

When those under Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) retire, they are allotted a 12-digit Pension Payment Order (PPO) number.

The PPO code is a 12-digit number assigned to every pensioner as a reference number for transactions and communications related to the EPS.

Visit the official website of EPFO -- www.epfindia.gov.in

Click on the pensioner’s portal option available under online services.

You will be redirected to the pensioner's portal.

Click on 'Know Your Pension Status' option on the left panel.

Select the office and enter the office ID, and PPO number.

Click to get the status of your pension.
