Here are the steps to deactivate your Twitter account through mobile.

Next, tap on your profile picture in the top left corner

You can now access the 'Settings and Privacy' option. Click on the option.

Tap on 'Your account options' mentioned in the 'Settings'.

After clicking on your account, choose 'Deactivate Account' which is listed as the last option.

It will ask for the 'Reactivation Period' which can be either 30 days or 12 months.

After choosing that, enter your password.
