WWE: Former Diva Maria to quit wrestling in order to study

Former WWE Diva Maria has decided to quit wrestling in order to pursue further studies.

Bengaluru, Nov 5: Former WWE Diva, Maria Kanellis is quite famous amongst the fans. The diva earned quite a fame with her beauty and the hook-ups during her tenure as a WWE employee.

She even had a relationship with the franchise player, John Cena which gave the spotlight, she needed.

The Diva has last seen in WWE in the year 2009. She is now a performer under the TNA wrestling promotion along with her husband, Mike Bennett.

At a time when she is at the peak of her career, she might quit wrestling, very soon. Recently, she posted a string of tweets which indicated the possibility.



She directly said that she is going to leave wrestling as a profession in the near future. Her focus will be to pursuing further studies.

She indicated that she will be done with her Bachelors in May, next year. Then she will be trying her luck in the master's degree. Though, we have not got any indications in the tweets regarding when she is going to quit, exactly.

Speculations are running saying that her decision was taken due to the bad times that TNA is going through, right now.

Dixie Carter has lost her power to run the company, on her own. TNA President, Billy Corgan and many other companies have already filed several lawsuits against TNA. The debts are all time high and there are some serious concerns regarding the company's future.

Maria has not made any comment regarding the company's current situation but her husband, Bennett took a dig to the matter on Twitter, recently.

After completion of her WWE stint, Maria had a successful career, in Ring of Honor promotion. She was known as the first lady, there.

After that she was signed under TNA, earlier this year. She has been on the news in recent times for commenting against Donald Trump, the republican presidential candidate in the upcoming election.
