Incheon, Oct 4: Curtains came down on the 17th Asian Games here in Incheon today. India finished their campaign with 57 medals with 11 gold, 10 silver and 36 bronze. They ended joint 5th (in terms of total haul) in the medal standings and overall 8th.
Compared to last edition in 2010 at Guangzhou, India failed to match that tally where they had won 65 medals in China. There were 4 individual gold medal winners for India and the other 7 came via team events including a clean sweep in Kabaddi (men and women). (Also read: Complete list of India's medal winners)
