World Cup 2015 Shocker: Uproar in Pakistan as India defeat Pak team

Islamabad, Feb 16: Repeating history, India once again defeated Pakistan in their first match in ICC World Cup 2015. While Indians celebrate the victory, people in the neighbouring country expressed disappointment with Team Pakistan.

Giant TV screens also were set up across the country and people gathered there at the early Sunday morning to watch the most awaited match of the season.

According to visuals shown by a Pakistani TV channel, people took to streets with TV sets and smashing them to pieces to show their anger at the Pakistan team's showing.

Meanwhile, TV channels showed visuals of Sydney where India and Pakistan fans clashed and four were injured in the brawl while watching the high voltage World Cup match on Sunday. [World Cup: India and Pakistan fans clash, 4 injured]

According to media report, four people were taken to hospital with a range of injuries after a wild brawl broke out between about 40 fans watching the match on a big screen at the club on Military Road about 9.30 pm.
