Rohit Sharma steers Mumbai to victory over Saurashtra

Vadodara, Feb 13 (PTI) A brilliant all-round performanceby Rohit Sharma helped Mumbai register a two-wicket win overSaurashtra in a Zonal One-day match for the Vijay HazareTrophy at�Reliance Cricket Stadium here today.

After taking four wickets for 28 runs to help his teambundle out Saurashtra for 205, he scored an unbeaten 96 toguide Mumbai to victory.

Opting to bat, Saurashtra batsmen in Ravindra Jadeja(53), Jaydev Shah (35) and Sagar Jogiyani (35) chipped in runsbefore getting all out in 49.3 overs.

Chasing a modest target, Mumbai kept losing wickets atregular intervals but for Rohit Sharma and Siddharth Chitins(53), Mumbai had the last laugh.

While Rohit''s unbeaten 96 came from 113 balls, studdedwith eight fours and a six, Chitins made 53-ball 53 with thehelp of three fours and four sixes.
