Panaji, Feb 2 (PTI) The Pro Badminton League got off toan exciting start as hot favourites Fomento Flamingos surviveda scare from GBA Super Riders, the Ponda Team, beforeprevailing 3-2 in a nail-biting thriller here today.

Reigning Champions Models Eagles also stuttered en routeto a 3-1 victory over the Vasco outfit Harbour Blues at IndoorStadium of Campal-Panaji.

The league is being organised by Panji Badminton Club inassociation with Sports Authority of Goa.

Meanwhile, the match between Fallary Warriors and PBCPanthers was expected to go the distance, the Warriorssurprisingly won the contest quite easily with a 3-0score-line.
