Symonds toasts Titans win with a few drinks

Brisbane, June 9 (ANI): Out-of-favour Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds toasted the Queensland Titans' win with a few drinks last night.

In the troubled star's first public appearance on the Gold Coast since he was sent home from England in disgrace last week from the World Twenty20 tournament after an alcohol-related indiscretion, Symonds seemed subdued as he cheered on the home team.

According to the Daily Telegraph, he was sitting in a private box with girlfriend Katie Johnson and fellow sportsmen, including surfers Joel Parkinson and Luke Egan.

Symonds said he was enjoying spending time with a few mates. The cricketer is currently considering his future in the sport. (ANI)
