Raghav, Ankit in Northern Zone regional final

Lucknow, Oct 12 (UNI) Raghav Jaggi and Ankit Khandelwal today booked their place in the Lucknow Golf Club team for the Northern Zone regional final of the McDowell's Signature Club Golf Championship 2008.

In the intra club tournament, the first stage of the multi-city event, held at the Lucknow Golf Club here, Raghav who tallied 34 stableford points emerged as the winner in the 0-8 category, while Ankit emerged as the runner-up with 32 points.

The duo were joined by Sanjay Bhasin and Lt. Col. H K Kalra, the winner and runner-up respectively in the 9-16 handicap category.

Sanjay scored 39 points while the runner-up aggregated 37 points, respectively. Also filling in the last two spots of the Lucknow team were Anupam Mittal and C S Khosla scoring 37 and 36 points respectively in the 17-24 category.
