Indian Test probables to undergo camp

Bangalore, Jun 23 (UNI) Twenty-four probables to pick the Indian Test team to tour Sri Lanka in July, will undergo a week-long training camp at Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) grounds here from tomorrow.

India is scheduled to play three test matches in the emerald isles with the first match beginning on July 23.

Team India Captain Anil Kumble would be incharge of the camp in the absence of the National Coach Gary Kirsten who is with the one-day squad to play in the Asia Cup in Pakistan from tomorrow.

The programme, according to a KSCA source, include net practice, bowling and fielding drills besides regular physical exercise and stints in the GYM.

The players attending the camp are: Anil Kumble(Capt), V V S Laxman, Rahul Dravid, Zaheer Khan, Wasim Jaffer, Harbhajan Singh, Akash Chopra, Romesh Pawar, Dinesh Karthik, S Sreesanth, Mohammed Kaif, Vinay Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Basant Monti, Mundeep Hangla, Samed Fallah, Sandi Bose, Pritamjit Das, Pankaj Singh, Munaf Patel, Yo Mahesh, Anit Mishra, Marish Parmar and Abdulla Iqbal.
