Dhoni and Irfan Pathan were first priority for Jaipur

Jaipur, Mar 5 (UNI) Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Irfan Pathan were top priority for the Jaipur Franchise of the Indian Premier League (IPL) which Fraser Castellino-Emerging Media, chief executive officer said.

He said Team India captain Dhoni and Pathan were the first prefence for us. We bid Dhoni for 1.2 million dollars but Chennai bid for 1.5 million dollars and then we withdrawn. ''We wished to bring Irfan Pathan and Ishant Sharma in Jaipur team but they were also bid high'', he added. Adding that we tried our best to make good team combination in the team and that's why we brought Shane Warne as a player and captain of team. Yunus Khan, Kamran Akmal (both Pakistan), Mohammed Kaif, Munaf Patel, Yusuf Pathan, Pankaj Singh and Neeraj Patel (India) and south African captain Graem Smith are in the team.

He said that as many as 80 players came through in first phase bid and next bid for remaining players would be on March 11. ''If Pakistan would go for Australia tour then Yunus Khan and Akmal would miss first two matches as well as Andrew Symonds and Ricky Ponting.
