Dubai, Nov 10 (UNI) The profile of women's golf in India will scale new heights when the EMAAR-MGF Ladies Masters, the first Ladies European Tour event ever to be played in India gets under way at Bangalore's Eagleton Resort from December 3 to 8.
Promoted and organised by 'golf in DUBAI,' EMAAR-MGF Ladies Masters will see a stellar star-cast, led by seasoned Laura Davies and Gwladys Nocera amongst others, vying for honours for a share in the euro 200,000 prize fund.
William Rattazzi, CEO of EMAAR-MGF said, "The tournament, the richest ladies golf event ever to be played on Indian soil, will feature a wonderful selection of superstars and it could well mark the beginning of a golfing revolution in India at a time when India is emerging as one of the world's favoured destinations for investment, business and tourism." "There is already a strong synergy between golf in DUBAI and Emaar's properties at Emirates Hills and Arabian Ranches, which boast international standard golf courses at the heart of the residential communities," he elaborated.
The inaugural EMAAR - MGF tournaments will provide a fresh lease of life for golf in India when they arrive in Bangalore and New Delhi.
