Dubai, Nov 10 (UNI) The profile of women's golf in India will scale new heights when the EMAAR-MGF Ladies Masters, the first Ladies European Tour event ever to be played in India gets under way at Bangalore's Eagleton Resort from December 3 to 8.
Promoted and organised by 'golf in DUBAI,' EMAAR-MGF Ladies Masters will see a stellar star-cast, led by seasoned Laura Davies and Gwladys Nocera amongst others, vying for honours for a share in the euro 200,000 prize fund.
William Rattazzi, CEO of EMAAR-MGF said, "The tournament, the richest ladies golf event ever to be played on Indian soil, will feature a wonderful selection of superstars and it could well mark the beginning of a golfing revolution in India at a time when India is emerging as one of the world's favoured destinations for investment, business and tourism." The inaugural EMAAR - MGF tournaments will provide a fresh lease of life for golf in India when they arrive in Bangalore and New Delhi.
