Usha attributes excellent team work for Team India victory

Kozhikode, Sep 25 (UNI) Attributing India's scintillating Twenty20 cricket World Cup victory to excellent team work, former Sprint Queen P T Usha today said players in other decipline can also draw inspiration from it.

''Every team member played extremely well'' to bring laurels for the country, she told UNI while reacting to the victory defeating Pakistan by five runs in the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup at Johennesburg last night.

''Yuvi, Irfan or Rohit, every individual member of the team did well in one or the other game in the series finally scripting the victory for the country,'' Usha said.

Stating that India had to wait more than two decades to bring a World Cup to the country, she said such a situation could be avoided if the youngsters kept the tempo.

'It is not only for cricketers but players from other discipline can also draw inspiration from skipper M S Dhoni and his team, she added.
